Seattle’s OK

Originally built in 1917, Seattle’s storied O.K. Hotel has played host to the Emerald City’s creative soul for more than seventy years. With nearly two hundred lo-cost rooms available to worker’s during the growth of Seattle’s downtown and waterfront areas, the storied hotel closed its doors in 1971 only to be re-opened in 1992 just in time to play a prominent role in the cities infamous music scene, welcoming local bands such as Soundgarden, Nirvana, Mudhoney and other touring acts from around the country. Despite closing in 2001, The O.K. Hotel still maintains its legend as one of the cities proudest landmarks.
