A Metaphorical Place

A restaurant on one side, and a bar on the other, 24-hour Seattle diner Lost Lake Cafe & Lounge is a fraternal Siamese twin to the Comet Tavern next door.

Named after the universal ‘lost lake’, that metaphorical place of first teenage summer love, the secret password kegger and resting place of Laura Palmer (or was that a river?), the Lost Lake Café & Lounge celebrates all that is dark, hidden, sought, celebrated and embraced. Located at the site of a former gay bathhouse, kids are welcome (on the restaurant side), and the stiffest drinks on Capitol Hill (on the bar side) are promised.
