For years, The Longshoreman’s Daughter restaurant was the only choice for breakfast in Seattle’s Fremont Neighborhood. Known for its warm staff and grand breakfasts in the Northwest tradition, this Seattle landmark served as a gentle reminder to Seattle’s gritty and working class roots. Fans far and wide lament the closing of the LSD in the late 1990s. This Seattle icon will forever be missed.
