In the last century, the Cascades were teaming with gold rushers staking claims, titling them with unique names like the Snorting Elk, but their hopes were dashed by the heavy snowfall. Where there are snow capped mountains, however, other cash-cows materialize, and soon Crystal Mountain became one of the Northwest’s premier ski resorts. Right in the thick of it, this ski-in, Bavarian bar offers a toasty spot to warm up after a fun day on the slopes. Serving tasty pizzas and some of the best freshly baked cookies ever!, not to mention a killer beer selection and full bar, locals, boarders and ski bunnies alike know this is the place to be for lunch and when the lifts close for the day.
