Originally Moe’s Mo’Roc’n Café in the 90’s and resurrected in 2004. This Capitol Hill club played host to promising up-and-coming bands. Radiohead, The Presidents of the United States, and the Flaming Lips took the stage in the 90’s on their way to the top. Seasoned icons like Neil Young (backed by Pearl Jam for the Mirror Ball album) played here as well. Neumos features all the original elements plus an expanded capacity for 800 concert goers, four bars and a 48-channel sound system. Showcasing original music of virtually all genres, Neumos was recently lauded by Rolling Stone magazine for featuring one of the best hip hop nights worldwide every Saturday.
