Since 1971, this local landmark has been serving Hawaiian-style diner food to happy customers, 24/7. At first glance, you might compare it to a standard American chain like Denny’s or IHOP, but once you flip through the enormous menu, you’ll realize Ken’s is in a league all their own. With huge portions and specialties like the Loco Moco (a hamburger patty, 2 fried eggs and gravy served on steamed rice) and their Oxtail Stew, you know you’re not in Kansas anymore. If you’re brave and hungry enough, try the Sumo Moco (a super-sized Loco), and your waiter will ring the bell and the entire restaurant will yell, “SUMO!” It’s that kinda place, and you won’t want to miss it.
