The loyal patrons of Fremont’s ”Fabulous Buckaroo” a neighborhood tavern, in the truest sense of the word, will argue its merits, over endless rounds of brew, until dawn if you chose to provoke the discussion. Bikers, neighbors, “young punks” and your average Joes all swill beers and shoot pool together every night of the week. Large wooden booths, with eons worth of etched-in graffiti, surround the pool tables and weathered pinball machines, making it the ideal place to get up in everyone else’s business. Seattleites feel lucky that a place like the Buckaroo is still buckin’ after almost 70 years. The Buckaroo Tavern has unfortunately closed it’s doors since this was written.
